Welcome to the BDTNRM GIS Web pages

The Burdekin Dry Tropics NRM GIS team consists of Doug Willis, Dustin Edge and Juelisa Nash. Our primary aim is to ensure the BDT community has access to the best geospatial data available to achieve their natural resource management targets.

From the GIS Web page you will be able to find information regarding the SPOT 5 satellite imagery purchase for the BDTNRM region. There is also information on software (both free and commercial) that can be used to assist you collect, view or manage geospatial data that you may have received or acquired. Over a period of time we hope to post some user guides or forums on how to achieve particular tasks within a software package. You are welcome to contribute to the development of this knowledge base.
