Quoll Seekers Network in Townsville

Townsville City Council and BDTNRM have joined forces with the Wildlife Preservation Society of Queensland (WPSQ) to develop a local Quoll Seekers Network (QSN).  The project seeks to gain an understanding of the endangered northern quoll populations in the Townsville region and will:

1.  Develop community awareness and appreciation of northern quolls in the Townsville area

2.  Collect and present information on northern quoll populations in the Townsville area

Project update:

Townsville City Council hosted the launch of the Quoll Seekers Network on May 31st, 2008.  The launch included a presentation and survey workshop, followed by a field survey the following day to Toonpan.  If you are interested in attending, other events, or for more information on the Quoll Seekers Network in Townsville, or quolls in north Queensland, download this brochure or contact bronwyn.houlden@bdtnrm.org.au
